How Do you Guys Avoid Under-Eating or Over-Eating with Working Out?

Question

I feel like I'm either over-eating or under-eating and not finding that sweet spot where I eat JUST enough. If it helps... I eat mostly clean. I avoid deep-fried/greasy foods, red meats, or simple carbohydrates. The problem is... I feel I'm either not hungry to eat somedays (even after spending a few hours in the gym) or too hungry to the point where I'll just binge-eat (particularly at night). It could just be that working out/dieting is still a learning curve for me. I'd either work out or diet- not do both, and I've only started this week making these lifestyle adjustments. Any tips to combat under-eating/over-eating with working out?
