I believe I might be looking for The Opposite of an Aggregate. Or a Reverse Index Match
Hey everyone, first time poster here. Usually I will just beat my head against a wall and read everything I can until I find something that works for my problem, and in this situation I made it 90% of the way there, or so I thought. :P
Here is a Quick Table for Reference:
| CaseTypeNameVariable1 | CaseTypeNameVariable2 | CaseTypeNameVariable3 | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Question Text1 | Complete | Issue | Issue |
| Question Text2 | Issue | Complete | Issue |
| Question Text3 | Complete | Issue | Issue |
What I am doing here is the following. I have a group of Case Types that are being populated across the set of Columns above There are over 200 Columns, and it is a variable range. Then in the Rows I have a question (currently there are 53 Question Rows). Inside the data I choose my option (For this example we will say its 'Complete' or 'Issue' I do not have any Care for the Complete Values.
I am trying to create an Issue List that shows the following data.
| Case Type Name | Question | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| CaseTypeNameVariable1 | Question Txt2 | [Free Text] |
| CaseTypeNameVariable2 | Question Txt1 | [Free Text] |
| CaseTypeNameVariable2 | Question Txt3 | [Free Text] |
| CaseTypeNameVariable3 | Question Txt1 | [Free Text] |
| CaseTypeNameVariable3 | Question Txt2 | [Free Text] |
| CaseTypeNameVariable3 | Question Txt3 | [Free Text] |
The problem is, I can make the CaseTypeNameVariable populate appropriately, using Aggregate because its the columns. But since the Question Text is using the Rows. The Problem I run into is that it prints the order as you see below. The Order is going Row by Row and checking the question for each Case Type. Where the CaseType is Printing the counts Column by Column.
| Case Type Name | Question | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| CaseTypeNameVariable1 | Question Txt1 | [Free Text] |
| CaseTypeNameVariable2 | Question Txt1 | [Free Text] |
| CaseTypeNameVariable2 | Question Txt2 | [Free Text] |
| CaseTypeNameVariable3 | Question Txt2 | [Free Text] |
| CaseTypeNameVariable3 | Question Txt3 | [Free Text] |
| CaseTypeNameVariable3 | Question Txt3 | [Free Text] |
**EDIT** I've removed two previous tables, and added another of what my results are currently doing for clarity of what I'm looking to accomplish. **Edit**
Here is my Formula for the Question Column that is not working currently
=@IF(ROWS($Q$3:Q3)<=$Q$2,INDEX('Permit Testing'!$B$3:$B$53,AGGREGATE(15,3,('Permit Testing'!$C$3:$FE$53="Issue")/('Permit Testing'!$C$3:$FE$53="Issue")*(ROW('Permit Testing'!$C$3:$FE$53)-ROW('Permit Testing'!$B$2)),ROWS($Q$3:Q3))),"")
If I can provide anything else, please let me know. I looked before I dove into asking a question here but everything seemed to get me close but not to what I was looking for.
Thank you,
**Edited for clarification of expected outcome.**
