Azir in the botlane
So seeing mages botlane, and then things like xerath support, why not put Azir in the bot lane? He has the best dps, and he also requires orb walking. What do my fellow emperors think?

I’ve played azir bot lane and it’s pretty fun, not super viable because azir needs lvls but still fun. I rock hail of blades because the gimmick is that you out range most adcs so you just poke the shit outta them and assert dominance in lane. Didn’t really test out many different types of supports but yuumi is pretty nice since she gives the sustain and extra dmg.

Me and my friend will duo bot. He’ll naut and lock them down while I use HoB. Follow it up with a well placed Q, more autos, and an ignite and the early kill pressure is intense.

Anyone else wanna elaborate on this at all? I'm an adc and I'm just sick of the mets right now and think azir is a super cool champ and could be good bot lane. What other thoughts are out there? Would he actually be a viable pick?

Well he is viable. At the end of the day Azir is the best DPS champion in game, so he could take the carry position, on the other hand one would benefit more if first learned mid to know what He or she is doing on Azir.
