Amazing contribution! I'll be following and also hoping for subtitles but I understand that's a bit of a massive task on its own. Would love to hear more about your process for these projects one day.
My Process:
Find a show/podcast/movie series you want to watch (again), but hate bothering with multiple files/intros/credits, or something specific that bugs you.
Get all the episodes/movies/extra content. I use this guide, and it still seems to work alright. I aim for 720p for space.
Convert into .mp4 with Handbrake.
Organize and rename files chronologically (ie. "Futurama - 038 - Bendless Love") into a single folder.
Import episodes into Adobe Premiere Pro individually back to back (up to 24hrs of video per project). Or Audacity if audio.
Remove Intro/Outro/Credits/etc, and other editing as needed/putting things chronologically or otherwise logically.
Export and upload to Google Drive and share to anyone with the link. (If you have a student gmail address you get unlimited storage).
Most of the projects I've undertaken thus far end up ~10% shorter (~5min or so per episode) which doesn't really seem like much, but across hundreds of episodes it adds up to a good few hours saved, on top of avoiding the hassle of individual episodes.
Thanks for that. I appreciate your work and taste in media consumption! Your Hardcore History Remastered is life changing for me.
