Has YouTube demonetized all channels from talking about corona? Or just all non major media channels?

I was watching a game grumps video that they just recently put out and during the beginning of the video one of them says “you can’t say the words (meaning coronavirus) or your video will be demonetized). I don’t know how true this is and I can’t post a link since I’m on mobile. But to me this sounds like a way they can control who can say what by shutting down a advertising revenue. Any one else know any YouTubers that have talked about this?

All channels. If you mention it, it's demonetized.

Beat the Bush (financial independence channel) was calling it the "beer bug" to get around it, but that was also demonetized. You basically have to call it "the current situation" or something like that.
