I wish she was a Cav if going to be a red archer though.
We now have three Infantry red archers, and no other movement types. We have one green Infantry archer (Legendary), one flying (seasonal), three Cavs in the main pools. For blue we have one flier and one armour (seasonals), and two Infantry (Legendary).
Like damn I wish these were a little more balanced. If she was even just a green Infantry archer in the permanent pool that'd be cool, or a colour movement combo that doesn't exists (blue bow Cav, green how armour, red how anything but Infantry)

To be fair it's not a silent 'T' (you still pronounce it very slightly), but yeah it is very stupid how they changed some of the names. They also changed Tsukuyomi to Hayato and Kisaragi to Kiragi, which was also weird.

The fact that they changed the beautifully japanese Yuugiri to the spanish Reina, but kept things like Yukimura and Orochi will never cease to piss me off.

Sounds like heavy sarcasm, but honestly even though those 2 games have by far the biggest amount of character (61 for awakening, 89 for fates with soon 4 more), like there is only a gap of 12 u it with Fe7 (49 units vs 61 for awakening).
So it is not as bad as it used to be of how much more awakening and fates used to get compared to the rest as other games very slowly catch-up.

Rinkah comes with DC, Breath and Slaying effect. If I had to guess I feel like she might have Fierce Breath or a new combo Breath (Sturdy Breath?). Guess we'll have to wait for that trailer to see what she has.

Yeah. Merchant (or whatever it's called) is her canonical class, but it's far from her best. That said, when her logical weapon types are bow, lance, dagger, or sword, coloured bow probably isn't the least interesting option.

One thing I only just realized is that you can make a full team of dagger royals covering all the colours. Elise is Red, Ryoma is Blue, Hinoka Green, and Xander/Takumi for colourless.

I love Fates, but the royals have gotten the game a really bad reputation in the FEH community… I'm glad the ban on Fates characters is finally over, maybe we can get Reina eventually!

There was never a ban on Fates characters. The last dedicated banner was Feb last year, which is the length of time that many of the games have had between their banners, while we still have received the odd seasonal here and there.
