Nioh 2 horrible drop rates compared to first Nioh?

I played and finished the first Nioh 2 years ago and loved it. Compared to the first, Nioh 2 to me feels like it has horrible drop rates. I feel like I get way less drops in every category, especially weapons. While in the old game I felt like I was constantly cleaning out my inventory. I'm only 3 missions in but still, it feels horrible and off. Is it just me?

I got to mission 8 and had to take a break due to the end of this semester kicking my ass lmao. Armor drops happen a decent amount, weapon drops still feel like they're lacking, but it's w.e.

Drop rates are way way way better than the grinding we did in Nioh1

Considering how often I have to clear my inventory while doing co-op, nope drop rate it's about the same if anything it's faster since now we have soul cores to eat the extra space.

Really wish they either had their own storage or they gave us more slots in general. Seems like a really strange choice as it is.

I’m personally happy to not have to clean my inventory so often. I hated that about 1.
