There isn't any evidence Tawain being "excluded" even mattered. The PR blitz about being earlier to "warn" about human to human transmission wasn't even on their own CDC communication sites until much later. They mainly ask a question that literally was being asked by everyone. All they did was say "hey can you look at the possibility of human to human transmission?" which of course the WHO was doing the entire time.

It reminds me how Republicans want to blame Tedros for the pandemic and for bootlicking to China, and how Trump wants to defund WHO. It reminds me of that case last year when one of those islands that had relations with the U.S. (i forgot the name) that switched to recognizing the PRC from the ROC and the U.S. lost their shit. I mean, if the U.S. did it, why can't other countries do it?

That was Solomon Islands, and it was a big deal not just cuz of the switch, but because the Prime Minister called out Australian imperialism (and pointed out how useless Taiwan as a foreign partner was) while doing so. Its prob more that that US got mad over and is now trying to promote separatism there last I heard.

And thats what gets me to not take their "cause" seriously. Like I get it, if I was born in Taiwan I probably won't submit that I'm somehow being ruled by mainland China either. But the way they only bark at fellow Asians and black people but never dare voice a single contempt for what they perceive as white masters, just make me dismiss whatever they want. If you can't even assert it to people supposedly sympathetic to you then why are you demanding it from China? To be more exact, it's the hanjian sellouts (from Taiwan, HK SAR, or overseas) who are doing the job assigned to them by the Usual Suspects. Their boss has been trying to discredit the WHO ever since the organization wouldn't follow its anti-China script. It turned out Freddy aka Conscription Skipper removed his sticker upon entering Switzerland but upon further investigation Freddy said the passport picture on his FB wasn't even his.
This asshat skipped conscription duties and has a mom working in China. Proclaims he loves Taiwan and is a true son of Taiwan. Bashes China whenever he gets the chance. Epitome of a living breathing oxymoron.
