That's cookies in an NBA game tbh
Chocolate chip or oatmeal?
Chocolate chip man
You bring the ball up that high in an NBA game and it's taken
I don’t think people realize that every single nba player has handles
Yup, watch Shaq against MJ in all star game warmup.
Pretty quick little reckless but really not too shabby
Point Mitch
aight he's gonna be the next AD
Would love to see him working on his post up game, and shooting from the elbow. Taj would be a great mentor for learning an effective offensive game
We'll never see him pull that off in an NBA game
That’s my point guard
He’s in the nba
Your be surprised how many big men in the NBA can move like this. They just don’t because it isn’t efficient for them to be taking a lot of dribbles against other NBA defenders.
youngboy???? 😈😈😈
so no self isolation? lol
honestly he prob the most athletic center in the league, he just gotta learn how to use his athleticism now.
Demigod
I always knew Mitch had it in him to do things like this.. still amazes me that a guy with his size can move the way he does.. he's what a REAL unicorn actually looks like... But anyways... this is a red flag also.. not on mitch but on our coaching staff and trainers... their inability to enhance their talents and for their talent to be displayed not only in practice but in games. Our coaches and trainers have made not only Mitch 1 dimensional but also knox and Frank.
and then all we'll see from him when he comes back is dunks
Sucks the coaching staff doesn't ever utilize his other skill sets in game like his 3 point shooting and ball handling, they're not stellar but above average for a guy his size. I always said his ceiling is AD lite, not elite on offense like AD but matching his defensive impact. Hopefully we hire someone like Kenny Atkinson that can put him in a position to grow and be successful.

This is not on the coaching staff. Mitch just does not look to do anything but DHO or PnR roll in games right now. The guy could easily be shooting jumpers. The coaching staff is not the ones preventing him from doing so.
He literally does not look for it in games, that doesn't fall on the coaching staff, especially if they're helping his shot in practice.
I wouldn't be surprised if he was hunting for the record as soon as he was made aware that he could break it later into the season nor could I blame him.
Of course he has
In comparison to any noch n professional even the worst ball handler in the league has great handles
I think people underestimate just how good the end of the bench guys are in the NBA. I remember growing up there was some rando end of the bench Hawks player at the gym I was at just draining half court shots like it was nothing.
Those think pieces about "Could Duke beat the worst team in the NBA? or "Could Alabama beat the Dolphins?" or whatever are ridiculous. They would get throttled.
There’s videos of Scalebrini absolutely dominating average joes. That makes me happy
Wasn’t one of the guys he played against d1 or something like that. So it wasn’t exactly bums
Scalebrini was PAC-10 player of the year before he got drafted. Everyone who's in the NBA deserves to be there (Except Giannis' and JR Smith's brothers)
I’ve got a cousin who used to intern for a pro team as a medical trainer, and as a perk, he’d let me come check out a few practices with him.
Can confirm, presuming you don’t just casually play NBA caliber starters in pickup games, the “worst” guy on a pro team bench, is the best basketball player you will ever play against in your in your life. Hands down. Go to an open run or corporate league with former D2/D3 guys playing and drop in an NBA caliber scrub in on the game. NBA scrub would put up 25 with a light sweat all while still having his warmups on. Light work.
Had a similar story but on the golf course. I play occasionally and am ok at it. A duo were playing much faster than us so waited at the tee box to let them play through. Turns out one of the guys was a local pro who was working on joining the tour. The guy tees off and my god it's like he was playing a completely different sport than us. He absolutely cranks his tee shot dead center and 300+ yards. The thing that was crazy was just how effortless it was for him.
