Should there be a subreddit for promotion of and education on on-line democracy tools (ie /r/OnlineDemocracy), so that we can educate and share knowledge on tools for democracy?

In light of what's happened in the Middle East recently, and the democracy protesters' use of Internet tools to convey important news to the outside world, news of events to each other, and tools for wrenching democracy from tyrants - shouldn't we develop a subreddit that allows for promotion and education on electronic tools for the promotion of democracy?
