green carbon and purple oxygen
tf
Don’t forget, the carbon has a significantly larger atomic radius than the oxygen.
Don't forget the bond angle
it looks oiled
Duh. It comes from fossil fuels. Of course it's covered in a sheen of oil!
The name is Bond...
Bond Angle
Mate, as I said above, it's in the middle of a vibrational excitation. Shaken, not stirred, if you will.
Maybe it's methanediol with invisible H's
Right...
...angled carbon dioxide is my favorite molecule
Purple Oxygen is my favorite element
And now one of the horsemen that permanently haunt my nightmares alongside Texas carbon and polyvalent hydrogen.
This seems to be a ball and stick model of water, so enjoy green oxygen and purple hydrogen
Even if it was water though, the bond angle should be around 109°. I don’t know any small molecules with a 90° bond angle off the top of my head, but I’m sure they’re put there.
True but considering they can’t even get the colors right I’m assuming the bond angles were generously rounded down
It's just in the middle of a v2 bending mode.
