Guitarcade not working on Mac - stuck in tuner/calibration loop
Bought this game last week and have not been able to get access to any of the Guitarcade games except for Gone Wailin'! Whenever I try to play one it gets stuck in a loop between the tuning and calibration screen with options to skip or start the game (Gone Wailin starts automatically after calibrating) and no matter how often I tune it won't progress to the actual game - there seem to be tons of people with this problem but still no proper solution to it. Is anyone else on Mac able to play them? I was really looking forward to trying them out!
Some extra info
- Played it on a Macbook as well as an iMac, Guitarcade doesn't work on either of them
- I'm using the Realtone Cable
- Running Sierra
- Have tried uninstalling Wacom drivers, no luck

The drivers were never my issue. For whatever reason, the game doesn’t like other peripherals. Do you have a Wacom plugged in?
I play Rocksmith on Mac via Steam. I’ve never had any these problems on my older MacBook Air or my newer MacBook Pro. It was plug and play. If you’re seeing the same issue on two different macs you need to look at any common denominators; your cable and guitar. Maybe it’s a bad cable or it has dirty pins? As for the guitar, I wonder if any shorts or grounding issues might cause this? Good luck.
The game works just fine in every other area, cable works great, sound comes through with no problem! It's just the Guitarcade giving me trouble and even that has no problems with the guitar input as I can tune just fine, the games just plain won't start up and there's no option to skip tuning so I just get stuck in an infinite tuning/calibration loop.
I also play it via Steam so it's a relief to hear this doesn't happen on all Macs, really hoping there's a fix for this :( I googled the problem and there are tons of posts on other sites from people experiencing the exact same thing, all on Macs, but still no solution...
Nope, nothing plugged in! Even uninstalled the drivers for it to see if it would make a difference.
Maybe try repairing the game files in steam?
Also didn't work, sadly!
The last options I can think of are if you tried doing CDLC but used an outdated method, that could have borked something.
Otherwise, there’s always uninstall/reinstall. Back up your data first.
If that doesn’t work, open a support ticket with Ubisoft and see if they can help you.
