Problem with input selection on Philips Smart TV
Hi everyone
Trying to create an activity where my Harmony remote turns on my TV (Philips 49PUS7272), and selects 'Network' as input source (to access my Dropbox, network drives and stuff). I've created a number of activities, and usually there are no problems, neither with the Harmony, my TV or any other device.
When I create this activity, however, to begin with I can select all of my inputs, including Network. When I test the activity, the TV turns on fine, but then it 'scrolls' through the list of inputs, first scrolling up until past Network, then scrolling back down and selecting a random input source (sometimes VLC, sometimes Satellite). I've tried to set up the activity with different inputs, and it's the same every time – scrolling up and down the list of inputs, and then it selects something different from what I told it to select. So this is not a specific thing with the Network input.
Has anybody had a similar experience? Any ideas or tips (apart from ditching the activity and continuing to do it 'manually')?

I had harmony set up on my old pus6272. Seemed to remember it working ok for me, maybe the odd misstep if an ir command got blocked.
Because those models don't support direct input commands I think the harmony gets around it by going to the top or bottom of the menu to reach the limit, and then it will know how many to count down to the required input
Does it work ok for other inputs, just not network?
They do support direct input but it’s just not in the harmony database. Had the same issue as OP with my 65 PUS tv. After mailing with logitech we came to a solution. I had to add the following device:
Philips 55PUS7363/12
Maybe try it out? That model worked for my tv. Direct input, so no menu scrolling etc
I’ll try that!
