Since our resident goddess is now meta again I figured I would dust off the tablet I have ignored since I drew those abominations for you guys a year and a half ago. Watched a few youtube vids on how to shade/color so it wouldn't be an eyesore. Feel free to point out all my flaws, and what other useful tools/guides you guys recommend I can use to improve any future drawings I might do.
They fixed the glitch.
Who is this
Celery
Thought I’d leave some constructive criticism, I like the art as a whole but the one thing that REALLY sticks out to me is how flat her hair looks, poof it up and make it a bit more wind swept with the texture and she’ll look perfect.
Anatomy is odd in some places but that doesn’t seem to ever really go away unless you put in an obscene amount of effort to check every part of the body, I’ve seen tons of really good artists mess that up before so just keep at it and you’ll be able to get over it.
Ya I did the hair really early on so it had the same flat look as the rest of the body, and couldn't figure out how to shade it to give it volume with what I had to work with at the time. I have an idea on how to make a brush to draw the hair more organically now after I made the clouds. The worst offender was the right leg, as the target dummy was initially going to be positioned like in the character art, but thought it would be funny to reverse it. I wanted to move on rather than spend even more time thinking of how the foot looked head on so I kinda copped out on it.
Ty for the criticism.
Guess I’m a training dummy.
