Good alternatives for stuffing?

So, I've been making stuffed animals and have every intentionlf making a lot of them(it is now just a weird goal of mine to hand make 100 stuffed animals within the next 3-4 years for some reason. And I'm gonna do it.) . So far ive stuffed them with fake snow.

But what else can i use. Things that i'd likely have around my house bc craft/sewing stores are defintley closed for the foreseeable future. They don't neccesarily all habe to be soft since they're mostly going to be for display.(a few will be gifts for people that i know want one...)

So thoughts?
