Apparently we're pretty hated as of late.

So on r/NBA, they've done the annual "Which fanbase has the worst fans" thread, and I'm surprised just how often we come up.

I mean, it's not that surprising considering the fact that we've had two big controversies within the last year-- the racist fans, and the Gobert mic touch.

Still, I don't think we're THAT toxic compared to other fanbases on r/NBA.

So what are your thoughts on this?

What do y'all think we can do to improve the image? Do you even care to improve our image? Do you think we'll just go back to being overlooked once the whole pandemic thing is over?

I mean, I genuinely think the Jazz crowd on here is chill af, so that's why it came as such a surprise.

We have a few duds, as does every fanbase, but still, I thought it was something interesting to think about when there's literally nothing else goin' on.

The reason people hate us is because of the issue with Russell Westbrook. But it’s really dumb that just because two people said something bad to an all star that our whole fan base sucks. We don’t need to listen to them though, they’re all dumb just hating that we’re actually getting pretty good.

There's no improving it. Every time I try to argue either of those issues you mention, I get downvoted to hell. I've tried, but the groupthink has decided we're all racists and there's no convincing it otherwise.

If we're a "most hated" fan base, I think it's great! Idgaf about other teams in the NBA when it comes to playing us @ the Viv, & I WANT other teams & fans to fear coming into our house as I think it gets in other players heads which gives our guys an advantage.

/NBA is a fickle, FICKLE bitch. Think of it as a group of middle schoolers at the bus stop making fun of you, a grown ass adult, for going to work or something. Nonsensical and not worth notice.

Not sure what point you're trying to make. I see two mentions of the jazz in that thread and they are at 6 points and -4 points. How exactly does that mean we're pretty hated?
