anyone know how long the free city COVID testing testing takes?
The email I got before my appointment this just said to look out of an email with no timeline. anyone else had testing through the city? Have you received results/how long did it take?

On Monday I filled out the form and was approved to schedule a test immediately, the earliest test time being the next day. I went in on Tuesday morning and am still awaiting results. The website says 3-4 days for results but the person who did my swab said 2-7 days.
I got an automated email this afternoon saying I was approved to schedule a test which I don't understand. The website still shows my test status as "scheduled" when I go under the results section after logging in. I did call to see what is going on today, and a lady took down my number and email address.
Hoping for some answers soon.
I also got tested this past Tuesday and was told results in 3-4 days. But as of today (Sunday) the website shows my test status as “checked out”. No results listed. I left a voicemail on the City’s COVID results hotline but haven’t heard back just yet.
I hope those results come in soon (and come back negative) for all of us!
I just called again and the person I spoke with said that they've been having lots of calls from people who tested Tuesday. Apparently lots of us haven't gotten results. She took down my name and number and requested a manual lookup, and said she would call if she hears back by 2 pm today when they close.

I hope you heard back soon about yours as well. It seems like it's not just me that's in testing limbo, then.
My result was just posted online (negative). May be worth checking if yours has been too!
thanks. I wish I had been a little more with it when I tested on wednesday, but I was honestly just able to shamble into the back of a car and stay upright.
Can I ask what number you're calling or where you're looking on the website for results? I'm normally a smart person, but I have zero brain cells left right now. I'm absolutely drained.
edit: oh, it's the link in the first email they sent. Jesus. I've seriously lost about 70 IQ points in the last week.
