You are correct! The best audio experience would be plugged straight into the DAC and amp being used simultaneously with each other on PC (or if another console supports it). This is a meme picture. Although I bet it wouldn't make a huge difference from the game being from the PS2 era.

It works on all Switch versions. This is the standard switch.

The only games that don't work on the Switch Lite are:
- Just Dance
- Super Mario Party
- 1-2-Switch
- Fitness Boxing
- Ring Fit Adventure
- Nintendo Labo.
The only real loss there for me is Super Mario Party. Almost all Switch games work on the Lite and funny enough almost all the ones that don't are made by Nintendo themselves. If you do have questions about a game, you should research it to make sure it will run on the Switch Lite though. With the Lite existing now, anything new that isn't a party game and doesn't require weird accessories like exercise games should work though.

Ooh, thanks. There’s only the lite available at the moment so I was debating whether to wait or not. Definitely have to have a think.

ZMF Atticus through a CTH + SDAC. The SDAC is being bypassed through a 3.5mm to RCA cable. DISCLAIMER: This is a joke and of course there are much better ways to enjoy the sound of the game like by using the amp and dac together via USB playing on PC or an external sound card hooked up to your console of choice.
