Changing time of history graphs?

Is there any way to change the time zone displayed in the history graphs? My linux system time is correct, and my time zone is set properly, yet my history graphs display in UTC which is a bit annoying when looking at camera and motion events and such. Any ideas? No info on google about "home assistant history graph wrong time"... Thank you in advance!

Most likely you haven't set your time zone in your configuration.yaml file. Look at https://www.home-assistant.io/docs/configuration/basic/#configuration-variables to set it up.

I set it to America/Toronto and it appears as that under the settings on HA, also my time card displays the proper time. Just not the history graphs

Are you using a db setup via recorder? If so maybe the time for that component isn't setup correctly.

Unfortunately no. I do have a ring integrated, which is super irritatingly network bound so maybe the time issue is there. however all my other times are wrong, for example my light status history graphs are still off.

Try installing a time sensor to see if your time in home assistant itself is right. From there it might be easier to track down the issue.
