Lmao this is hilarious
I literally skipped the midpoint sum question...
I was asked for a right sum for that question, weird
I was asked for a left one
I got trapezoidal lol
Bro same. And I practiced midpoint too. The way they worded the questions was shit. I couldn’t figure out how many equal sections they wanted. Was it 2?
Was it from a table of values? It's usually half, rounded down. So if there are 7 x-values: a,b,c,d,e,f,g, then your intervals would be [a,c], [c,e],[e,g]
I’m going to bang my head against a wall
Alright, I'm gonna make up a BS reason for a makeup.
I think it said two subintervals, not subintervals of two (not sure though)
If they said two subintervals then you must have been given 5 values on that interval. If the values were a,b,c,d,e, then your intervals would be [a,c] and [c,e], with midpoints b and d respectively.
The midpoint sum is the same as a trapezoidal sum.
wait what no it’s not?
They are completely different, midpoint uses the len*f((x_L+x_R)/2) while trapezoidal uses len*(f(x_L)+f(x_R))/2. Trapezoidal is typically, but not always, more accurate than midpoint. Midpoint uses the f value between the two x values, while trapezoidal averages the two f values for the x's.
I did two equal sections of 6 units, idk if that was what your question was about
I’m so happy I got right sum
Isn’t it right sum?
everyone had different tests

haha no a trapezoidal sun is thee average of left and right. midpoint is not.
Seems like the 2% of people who downvoted will not be able to submit on their other ap exams...
URGENT: Just took the #apcalc bc test & my screen froze during the last 5 min of frq2. I still submitted what I had but it was incomplete. Do yall think I can get a five if I got full credit for a-h on frq1 and zero for part i and got full credit for a-c,f,g but zero for d&e on frq2?!
You probably shouldn't have submitted and instead create a report to retake the test in June. However, they do say before you enter that you don't need to finish to get a 5, 4, or 3.
definitely!
you only need like 64% for a 5 and i'm sure if you got full credit for the rest you'll be great
A 5 is typically 70% or higher ...often less fending on the year . Yo I are def still within reach assuming you nailed the rest

It really isn't cheating since it was an open book test. The internet is fair game, as long as you are not discussing the question in real time with a group of people. I used a cheat sheet tho, its faster.

you were allowed to search stuff up...?
Yeah only thing u couldn’t do was talk to other people

isn't the second bump just the second question

Who googled "integral"
Probably part of a phrase such as “what integral gives you a Riemann sum” or avg value or something
