Multiple groups filling census online?
Hi all. I have a weird question that I haven't been able to find the answer to. My husband and I rent out the main house of a large single-family home, but have a few housemates. There is a semi-separated unit in the back of the house where another tenant lives, and a small cottage in the backyard where a 3rd tenant lives. We did receive the online ID #s, but only 2 sets (1 for the main house and one for the cottage, which I assume is because there wasn't a 3rd set of tenants living here during the last census). We've received the paper form to fill out as well, but we're all pretty separated, and none of us really wants to try to break each of our quarantines, so what should we do?
- Is there a way for our 3rd set of housemates to get their own code to fill out online?
- Alternately, we did get the paper copy. Is it illegal to cut the pages up so we can hand our housemates the extra pages to fill out?
- Or, would it be a violation if we made a photocopy of a page, left that for our roommates, have them fill those out, then transfer the information to the actual document?
Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for any help!
