The Antediluvian World
I’ve been a writer, gamer, and imaginer for some years now, and I’ve been developing a world based on the idea that a global civilization did exist prior to the meltwater pulse of 11,600 years ago, and its been lost to history for various reasons (mostly floods and the inevitable decay brought by time). Some of the concepts I’ve developed are super unique and super rad (such as a primary, secondary and tertiary classing system that allows for maximum character customization, and multiple nations with different ideals and motivations to choose from, etc) and I’d really like to see my brain child fleshed out as much as possible; and there are a few aspects of it that are definitely outside my area of expertise. Like the fact that I can’t art at all, for one. In my wildest dreams this global civilization (or group of civilizations) would serve as the setting for an MMO or tabletop rpg of some sort. Races and classes have been fully concepted, although I’m always open to constructive criticism. The world itself, along with locations within it, could definitely use some development, along with lore, architecture, culture, religion, apparel design, ... the list goes on ad infinitum. Somewhere nestled between hard Sci-fi, high fantasy, and historical fiction lies “the Antediluvian World”; if any or all of those genres tickle your fancy, then by all means, engage with me, I’d love to tell you more :)
