Question on Pinnacle Gear - Nightfall Strike - The Ordeal

Do you get a pinnacle gear drop every time you complete a Nightfall Strike with 100k score? My understanding is that is only possible at Legend or higher, but I have seen conflicting information on it being dropped every time, I thought it was only for the weekly challenge. Otherwise I had thought the 1030 level was the level that dropped it every time.
