I can't get them to show up on my 3DS
I had to rename the MPO files before the system recognized them but once it did the effect was absolutely fantastic. They look just like I remember them! Feels great to see them like this again, until I repair my VB it's the closest I'll ever get, heh.
I don't know how many of the rest of you were Virtual Boy fans as well, but it was my love for that thing after getting it on launch that led me to be an early adopter of the 3DS as well. Makes me happy that the 3DS is basically the full realization of what the VB was panned for not being: full color, fully portable 3D anywhere without sticking your head in a bucket. Here's hoping they get the VB library on Virtual Console when the shop is up!
I actually liked VB, and miss it as well. Can't wait to download these when I get home from work.
It would be good as they may finally make some money off them!
Hah, I imagine it'd be gratifying for those who worked on these titles, to see them getting an audience that is no doubt already wider than the VB's install base. It's too bad Gunpei Yokoi couldn't be around to see Nintendo getting 3D right for the mass market.
