Do I have any chance of becoming an astronomer and being financially stable during this time?
I’m currently a graduating senior looking to go to the University of Arizona to become an astronomy major , but am I making a mistake becoming an astronomer after the Covid 19 recession and stuff. I know you can’t predict the future but I’m just worried I’m going to have no future after studying to become an astronomer because of all the unemployment and the economy tanking. I just want reassurance that I’m doing the right thing because I love astronomy with a passion and I really wish to go into the astronomy field.
