Hello I have this Peruvian Torch for two months and I don't know how to keep it in a perfect condition. It usually stays in a room with enough dayling but not in direct lighting. How often I need to give him water or anything else? Thank you!

It needs way more light, it’s etiolating. As for how much you need to water, that depends on your environment

Is it very humid where you live? Or very dry?

Transition temperate continental is the climate in my area. I think is in the middle, probably a little humid in the summer.

Sounds kinda like my area, so i would say atleast every couple weeks to keep it from starting to go dormant , but make sure the soil is pretty dry for about a week in my experience, but i dont have any experience besides with a red headed irishman (mamillaria spinosima or something like that) 🤷‍♂️

Sanpedro is the general term for trichocerus 😂 read a book and educate yourself before you wreck yourself

You are stupid if you think that it’s just a San Pedro. That not how it works. Just because someone has a grate grate grandfather that is black, doesn’t make you black. It makes you mixed, and primarily not black.

It’s the same with plants, you should learn your shit first.

A Peruvian Torch is a sub species of the San Pedro.

You are trying to say a dog and a wolf are no different with your logic

Love you brother I hope these magical plants help with your ego i’m sending good loving vibes your way. I was simply advising OP that san pedro as a whole species generally do better outside getting 6+ hours of sun... If you have anything beneficial to add to that for advice i’m sure he’d love to hear it.

Bro you need your head examined. The term “San Pedro” generally refers to trichocereus pachanoi, but it’s very commonly used to describe all of the common trichocereus.

Calling a T. Bridgesii, T. Peruvianus, or T. Scopulicola a “San Pedro” is totally acceptable. Just because you’re ignorant to that fact, doesn’t mean you should act like a douchebag

this is not a peruvianus though. mislabeled pachanoi most likely.
