I popped my neck/shoulders and my symptoms rapidly improved?

Recovery

Brief backstory: 24M, developed symptoms of HPPD/DPDR in August of last year, started 4 months after my previous acid trip, seemingly triggered by a major panic attack due to stress. Being treated for B12 deficiency has led to a slight but noticeable improvement in visual symptoms and tinnitus and major improvements in anxiety and depression, but visual symptoms were still bad enough to be distressing.

I recently took up yoga and during a pose the other day, something "popped" in my neck and I suddenly felt like I was waking up from a dream. All my visual symptoms and tinnitus quite literally faded 90% within five minutes and for the first time in months, I felt like I slipped back into my body. The symptoms are still slightly present, but I have to actively look very hard to notice them.

I've historically been very tense, particularly after my symptoms developed. Started yoga as a way to ease me back into being active and improve my posture after months of being a lazy ass. Everything has felt so clear since this happened I'm almost in disbelief. Everything came back very slightly when I missed two days of exercise/yoga but faded again after starting back.

Edit to clarify a few things: forgot to mention my HPPD started within one week of me starting lexapro, which actually increased my anxiety pretty horribly for the first two or three weeks. My HPPD was at its worst while on it and it actually improved after tapering off.

Does anyone have any idea what could cause this? I'm both amazed and incredibly confused about what could have happened here.
