Did you have dimples presurgery? Or did they show more post surgery? Asking because soft tissue is unpredictable and dimples are very cute haha.

Aww thank you! I had them before surgery and was really worried they would go away after surgery! I’m happy to still have them, lol!

Yep! My case was special because they did the surgery before my teeth were completely de-camoflagued. It’s called the surgery-first approach. The names a little deceiving though bc I did have to have the braces put on first, but like I said they didn’t wait to fully decamoflague my teeth. Idk if that makes sense!

Nervous and hopeful... Going back and forth on whether I am doing the right thing or not. Also feeling like I want to just get it over with already lol!

Beautiful results. May I ask who your surgeon is?

1
peacenchickengreaseOP•

He was in Pennsylvania! If you’re close to PA message me and I’ll give you his name :)

1
Jirockandroll•

Hey! Sorry to pull up an old thread, but your results are amazing! Mind sending me his name as well?

I got braces on this past September, then surgery in December, and then I was supposed to get my braces off in March but it turned into May because of COVID. So basically 3 months of braces, surgery, another 5 months of braces (should have been 3)

did your nose get smaller? im getting ujs but dont want my nose to widen

1
peacenchickengreaseOP•

Mine didn’t widen! Surgeons will usually do a special stitch called an ‘alar cinch’ to avoid the nose widening b

1
notreallyme3210•

You should definitely speak about that to your surgeon since I didn‘t and they didn‘t do an alar cinch...
