$315 at grabagun right now. Above $300 I just can't it over a Canik with a slide cut for optics.

Yeah, one of the tiger king loonies chose something like "It's a Ruger. It won't fire without the magazine." as his last words. Ruger carves that into their firearms now.
It's limitedly true. My SR9C still has the mag interconnect safety, but as I understand it, that bit is the first thing that most owners remove.
My SR9 has it. I don't feel a need to remove it.
Thanks, I’m aware - I’ve read the manual quite a few times, have taken firearm safety and have put around 700 rounds through it already ;)
