2. What did you think of Fauchelevent's monologue when he thought that Valjean was dead? It would have been very dramatic in the near-dark cemetery.

3. The glimpse into Gribier's home was not very cheerful, and emphasises just far he has fallen. Do you think this is the last we will see of this character?
