I built a trade wall
I wondered if I could completely block a usual trade route with the property I have.....turns out I can.(For reference this is in Two Crowns along the north beach hill allowing you to go east of moonswept homes towards the cinder and TC outlet. With the wall in place you either have to use riders escape to get through in a cart, or go the long way around moon swept.) I call it the demonetization zone. Should I leave it up for a few days or take it down immediately?

People used to do this with carts back in the day. They would block spots that allowed other players to get places. I think Trino released a statement back then saying blocking people's path's like this could and would result in a ban for X amount of time. They would give a warning first though.
I'd say you can keep it up if you want, but you may hear from a GM in the future, ha.
The rule you are talking about is here (http://forums.archeagegame.com/showthread.php?242852-ArcheAge-Policy-Update-Changes-to-blockades-and-blocking) and I agree you are likely right that the spirit of that rule would prevent this but I believe(and I'm not willing to search for it) that they have also said that private land is private and they wont interfere with placement of items on it. Obviously what I did here doesn't really apply to that(my intentions are obviously not purely aesthetic rp) but I am going to pretend it does until I take it down >.>
Pretty sure you will get it taken down, and as a trader I want to curse you out.
But I respect what you've done here. Good job my dude, hope it lasts as long as it can.
People used to block actual paths for trade runs (such as bridge in hellswamp) in order for people to not be able to run packs. In this case he isn’t blocking a short cut through a housing province . Unfortunately he is not doing anything wrong people still can get wherever they need to through the actual paths
Yea op will definitely get a suspension for this if it continues
