i hated gattuso's prime, but still think he would be better than trezeguet

Trezeguet is fodder. I don’t even have good strikers and he doesn’t make the bench.

i had the same dilemma and took trezeguet. higher rated for fodder and more impactful as a striker imo, gattusos stats dont look very usable as a starter at this point of the game.
My initial thought was to go for Trezeguet also because i already have Litmanen and Keane. But i read some reviews that Gattuso is great ingame.
