it's Scaly Sunday, and I created something far different than my normal (erotic) work today.

I like doing research for my scripts and writing, to get an idea for a character, and their story, whether it simply be a creature with its own activities in nature (such as bees) or, in this case, lore of the individual known as Medusa.

I know that seen in the male-dominated society, Medusa’s story is one of a curse placed upon her from a fit of jealous rage, which enhanced Medusa’s rage and hate towards all. However, through the feminist lens, I discovered more styles of story that spoke to me. I loved the re-telling. It makes so much more sense. A story of female protection and support, rather than competition and hatred.

I started this script writing something very erotic, and it turned into something completely non-erotic after I did my research. It became one of a more wholesome nature, or so I’ve been told by those who read it before I posted it.

I started writing it while listening to sad music (i.e. piano medley of mass effect music, skyrim music) so this kind of came out instead. It made me cry. I'm crying here. Why am I like this?

I wrote a story of someone who went to Medusa’s lair to hear the truth of her story, rather than to kill her, or harm her. Her story is not a happy one, but an important one to remember. I hope you enjoy what I’ve written.
