Glad they filmed most episodes. Hopefully it isn’t too delayed.
The interview is missing? I see bullet points of questions, but nothing else.
It looks like those were just the points they discussed, but the actual answers weren't transcribed. The video of the interview is above it.
Ah! Thanks. I thought that was just an advert.
I’m so excited this series is so good
Can’t wait for season 2. Super happy that season 3 is coming too!
I hope they at least explain the red lights Gordo saw.
Well that answers one question I had. I had wondered if the teaser at the end of season 1 (the Sea Dragon liftoff in 1983) was a flashforward which they would work towards, or the starting point for the new series. From the interview it looks like the latter - season 2 will take place in the 80s with President Reagan and the cold war ramping up.
Also, I wonder if we'll get to 1989 with S3? It'd be interesting to see whether the continuation of the space race had an effect on the collapse of the Soviet Union
I hope they go all in with superpower competition in S3. Imagine Russia countering the Sea Dragon with their version of Project Orion.
This is so exciting! I wonder if they'll maybe do a release of one or two episodes a month so we can start enjoying it now and they'll still be able to shoot and edit the last two without having a huge gap
For those who didn’t watch the video, they have 8 out of 10 episodes in the can when COVID hit for S2. They are working on post for those 8 and discussions about S3 with writers but haven’t opened up the writers room yet on that one. Based on that last comment sounds like Apple has softly green lit S3.
