2008 Honda Accord strange clicking noise

I've had a strange ticking noise on my 2008 Honda Accord for about a month now, the sound is metallic and happens maybe once every 30 seconds. Sounds to be coming from the front driver side wheel well. I checked the lugs and they're tight.

Any idea what it could be?

When I'm driving with the engine on, turns make it happen slightly more often, but it'll still happen while driving straight.

It's not really rythmic, just a single sharp metallic click that happen randomly every 5-45 seconds while driving.

I'll check out if there is any play later this afternoon

Do you have any pictures to describe what happens?

Not sure what pictures would help, as it's a sound. Thoughts?

Here's pictures of the driver's side wheel well. CV axle looks good to me. I do see some grease leaking from a suspension component (is it called a wishbone bushing?)

Actually, jack the car up with the wheel off the ground, then grab the wheel and shake it both the horizontal and vertical direction to check for any play. This could indicate whether there's an issue with the ball-joint or wheel bearing
