[Texas] Required to pick up unscheduled shifts?

My boss had a scheduled set up and on my off day texted me a few hours before a shift to ask if I wanted to come in and help out while they trained a new employee, but since i wasn't scheduled that day I was busy helping a friend move. This was a few days ago, when I claim should put down I refused work? or does this not count as work refusal?
