Help - Cannot beat first tower mission.

So I have absolutely loved this game so far, but I am completely stuck on the first tower mission in Via Corolla.

Every time I head to the guarded house, I get quickly obliterated. There seems to be like 8-10 people guarding the house. As soon as I enter the garage through the side street, they immediately know I'm there. They almost never miss with their shots and flank me when I try to hide. I'm only on day 5 so I only have a couple guns and knives.

I also find aiming really hard, and my gun jams every 1-2 shots, so they kill me by the time I've gotten it fixed. Any tips would be super appreciated. I've beaten all the other popular AAA VR games and I've never been this stuck.
