Can someone explain how the hell it gets to the point that 2 fit parents, one of whom is an early chilhood educator (i think it was that?) have their parental rights fucked up so badly by the courts that the toxic grandparent even has a fucking say in where they live?

This is just a rant really, why do we see the courts fuck over good people. I don't know what's more frustrating to read, this or Crows GPR related mess that is awfully similar in the outcomes.
