Tween Fiction Romance about girl with powers that can read the thoughts of objects she touches

I read this book probably 8-10 years ago so it probably came out around 2010. In the girl's family, everyone gets their own special power when they turn a certain age probably 15 or 16 or something. Her whole family has really cool powers. The protagonist girl turns the age and she doesn't think she gets her powers. She ends up being able to read the thoughts of anything she touches including objects and it freaks her out at first. Most of the story takes place in either her middle school or high school. Eventually a boy that is her friend knows about her powers and they try to solve a crime of some sort together. I don't remember exactly how this book goes but this is what I can remember.
