I'm trying to commission someone to build me a USB MIDI controller. Anyone interested?
Hey geniuses. I saw some awesome MIDI controllers on YouTube and would love it if I can pay someone to make one for me.
I love making music in my DAW, but I have an illness called muscular dystrophy, so it's getting harder and harder for me to finger-drum on traditional pads. I've tried them all: Akai, Korg, Novation... I can't hit hard enough any more, and they're usually too big anyway. I saw everyone used arcade buttons on DIY controllers, and their extra sensitivity will help me greatly. They're also a more convenient size compared to most MIDI controllers -- a modest instrument that can sit in my lap -- and think this would help me keep making music! I'd build it myself but... yeah.
What I need is a smaller version of the Fliper controller with a pitch + mod wheel added, basically. I have made a crude picture of my dream controller. Could anyone please have a look and let me know if you can build something like it and do the arduino stuff and everything? I'd be so grateful.
Bruno.
