First matches as a new player

Hi,

I’ve recently installed Valorant. In the past, CSGO always intrigued me, but I held it off, also because of the “hardcore” nature of it, which, in all honesty, made me reluctant.

However, Vakorant pulled me in as soon as I saw the first gameplay. I’ve spend the past day in practice mode to get somewhat comfortable with the mechanics, and also looked up some guides.

So I will soon start my journey by playing some actual games. But since I’m a brand new player, and i will absolutely suck ass obviously, what can I expect? Is there a matchmaking system in place which puts me in lobby’s with other inexperienced players? Are there training matches you can participate in (other then unranked)? And what are some other things I can expect?
