Strange Visuals

Hey guys, Im new to meditation and energy work. I feel more comfortable meditating with open eyes for a long time. I decided to meditate while looking at the eyes of my pet snake. After a long time of not blinking my mind was completely empty and at that point I saw energy coming from my snake in a circular shape and the energy had indigo color. Unfortunately I still dont know what that energy balls meant. took me some time to awaken from the meditation state. I was not shocked, I felt very calm and fascinated after that but I have no idea what happened and I couldn't find a solid meaning to what happened. Have you experienced anything like this?
