Growing with Gaia green in Coco

Just wondering what the right way to water when using gaia green in coco. I've read that you want a 10-20% runoff when watering coco to wash away the salt build up. But a few days ago I saw a post, where someone said they didnt water to runoff as its just washing/wasting the dryammendents away. If anyone has any experience with gaia green in coco, I'd love to hear any advice. Also anyone know what ph gives you the most benefits with gaia green, I've seen mixed answers on this as well
