How Badly This Cone Is Damaged?
Here's the damaged cone in question
I'm considering getting this speaker as it's priced pretty reasonably due to the cone damage. Seller has assured me that the damage is only cosmetic and doesn't affect the sound reproduction in anyway.
I was thinking of running a sine sweep test to figure out if the damage affects the sound quality at high and low frequencies but frankly, I'm not sure if that's a good test to begin with, and even if so, I'm not sure what I'd be looking to figure out if the damage affects the sound quality.
So I was curious if anyone who dealt with damaged coned before can weigh in on this?
Thanks
