Health Insurance too pricey

the Vanderbilt health insurance is too pricey for me to afford, i'm out of state so my home insurance doesn't apply here and can't waive the student insurance. anyone who has applied for separate insurance in TN, what insurance plan/company did you use that's more affordable that can waive the student insurance?
