Amway - boyfriend is in it and very worried

So my boyfriend recently got into amway about few months ago. One day I was with him and he had a on call interview, after that ended he already got a second "interview" right away which I found weird. Weeks later, he tells me about how hes going to own his own business and I found that very sketchy. He then proceeds to tell me that hes joining amway so I told him isnt that like a pyramid scheme. and he replies to me saying that well if you work for another company or something you're still working under someone so that would be considered a pyramid scheme too. and then poses it as its legit since it has its own nba stadium after it for orlando magic. so i didnt know much about amway either so believed okay it might be legit he'll be okay. but then the past few weeks ive been looking into myself and doing my own research and im kinda getting worried. he needs to meet a monthly requirement and im doubting hes making any money back. he tells me that its only a start up cost thats how all business are when you start youre own but he doesnt understand that its not his own business. he doesnt have his own freedom to sell how much he likes to per month nor the products even his. hes selling for amway. im worried that in the long term its gonna do more damage than help him. we also barely get time for eachother hes always on calls. through the research i did i realised that this side income is barely any and is only beneficial to his upliners. idk what do and how to approach him regarding it because he seems so determined with it and wont listen to anything i say. hes just gonna think i dont support him or that hes bound to fail and that i dont believe in him that he can do it. so i have just been quiet about it now whenever he slips it into whenever we talk. any thoughts on this :(
