A vent about those bonds

***This is only spoilerish if you literally don't want to know anything about eps you haven't seen.***

Besides loving the facial expressions in that particular scene in Free Fall last night, I was also slapped with a continuity issue that always makes me crazy: the danged bonds. Of course, it's established right from day one that the only thing Neal was ever convicted of was "bond forgery," but no further details were provided. Then, in Free Fall, we're shown a file with regular US Savings Bonds that he forged. Okay, works for me. But . . . before the season is even over, we meet Stuart Gless in Front Man--CEO of the company whose bonds Neal was convicted of forging. Huh? And by the time we get to Forging Bonds in S2, the Atlantic company bonds is the official story.

Personally, I've always thought corporate bonds sound much more Neal-like than savings bonds, so I much prefer the Atlantic bond angle (and I really like both those subsequent episodes), but it drives me crazy when shows change something they've already established just because something different will flow better with the new storyline.

Anyway, that's my rant for the day. I'm sure there are other inconsistencies throughout the show that I'm not considering right now, but this one is one of my peeves for sure. Are there any that really get under your skin?
