How do deal with google cloud storage vs Firestore uploads when client is offline?

Firestore supports offline writes elegantly. It will just upload when you reconnect.

The problem is that some of our users upload firestore data AND binary image data.

When they are online, no problem. The data goes into google cloud storage as an image and the JSON goes into firestore.

The issue is what do do when they're offline.

I need some sort of way to reconcile this and upload the data to cloud storage once they reconnect.

Has anyone solved this?
