First Time Grower Used Miracle Grow

Someone I know who grows told me to use miracle grow for my plants and since they've grown before I don't think to research it. Although now after researching a bit I found out miracle grow isn't good soil at all for marijuana plants it seems. Has anyone grown with it before and what were the results? Also my plants are in the veg state would switching them to a different soil now kill or damage them?
