Can you get out of cave 7 bottom without climbing axe?

Hey, so I rushed the bottom of cave 7 by sliding walls to get the modern bow. Is there a way back up without having climbing axe? May have made a mistake.. great game. Thank you!

EDIT: found a way out by doing a leap of faith toward a rope near top where you need axe. Thank you for replies!
